Posted on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in Travel and Leisure

Like many countries across the world, fishing in the UK is very popular and there are thousands of people every year looking to enjoy some time away on holiday doing what they love best, fishing. If you want to really enjoy some time fishing then you need to spend a few days or a week away and experience one of the Fishing Holidays in the UK.

The fishing holidays are not expensive if you choose the right accommodation and some of the best are the luxury holiday lodges. Forget the rustic log cabins; these are state of the art self-catering holiday homes where you will want for nothing throughout the duration of your stay. The lodges are fully equipped with well-designed bedrooms offering en-suite facilities, bathrooms and shower rooms, kitchens full of appliances and a living space with comfortable furnishings and extras such as Freeview and DVD players.

The Fishing Lodges in the UK are not even an expensive option when you compare them to other holidays on the market. As an example you can get away for under £250.00 for a week away (depending on when you are going) and this is for the entire accommodation and not per person. Many of the lodge parks have the lakes on site and often you will find there is a choice of lakes, and all of these are well stocked with lots of varieties of fish.

If you do not want to spend a week away then you should consider having a long weekend or short break. You can choose from weekday breaks or long weekends (Friday to Monday) and what better way to relax than on one of these breaks. Again depending on when you go the prices of the Fishing Breaks in the UK will vary, but you can often find prices starting as low as just £135.00 for a short break. All you need is to bring your fishing kit, some food and you are all set for some great fishing.
